NORTHFIELD, Mass. - Police say a 79-year-old man has died after striking his head while out in the woods near his Northfield home. Police say Robert "Bucky" Rogers often went in the woods near his home to chop firewood, but his son became concerned when he didn't return home early Sunday afternoon.

Historically the temperature for early September is in the high 60's or low 70's. The temperature will be posted on the website on a daily basis one week leading up to the race.
